Smith Eyewear Loves PSIA/AASI
October 27, 2006 – Lakewood Colorado -- The Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA), American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI), and the National Ski Patrol (NSP) announce that they will receive continued support from Smith Optics, Inc. The renewed four-year agreement with Smith Optics involves eyewear as well as winter sports helmets from their new product line.

“We’re especially proud to continue our relationship with Smith Optics, a top-tier brand in the eyewear—and now helmet—categories that have been very popular with our members,” says Pete Skavish, advertising and sponsorship director for PSIA, AASI, and NSP. “We’re excited to offer Smith’s new helmet line as well as their innovative eyewear to help keep our members stylish—and safe—on the hill.”

Smith Optics sunglasses and goggles have long been favored as the eyewear of choice in ski country. Now PSIA, AASI and NSP members will have the opportunity to wear one of the helmets from the new line—all of which are designed to work in sync with Smith’s eyewear for high-performance fit and function on the slopes.

“Smith Optics is excited to renew our relationship with PSIA, AASI, and NSP for an additional four years. Smith is honored to be a part of and also support these groups as an Official Supplier
for eyewear—and now with the introduction of our new product line of winter sport helmets,” says Scott Robinson, Smith Optics international sales manager.
